3 Card Poker originated more than 300 years ago and was known as Primero, a very energetic betting game using only 3 cards.
As the game developed, it changed names many times from Post-and-Pair to Brag and today it is known to us as 3 Card Poker. The game has many winning probabilities especially as you have two game options combined into one game.
Pair-Plus and Ante-and-Play. Pair Plus is a straightforward bet on the cards with winnings for all hands of a pair or better. For Ante-and-Play the player puts in an ante bet prior to receiving his cards, after the cards are dealt the player can then decide to fold or raise the bet.
If the player wins the dealers hand, even odds are paid out both his ante and play bets!
